Santa visits Narborough

We were lucky enough to receive a visit from Santa yesterday at Narborough during our christmas party. The children were thrilled to see him and pre-school sang him some Christmas songs. We played party games, danced and had a yummy party tea. It’s certainly starting to feel very Christmassy now.

Diwali at Narborough

We’re getting ready to celebrate Diwali at Narborough. We were lucky enough to have one of our parents come in and read stories, bring some beautiful clothes for us to try and help us make rangoli patterns. Thankyou Mrs P for joining us. We’re looking forward to our yummy lunch of chicken biryiani later.

Bread making at Narborough

We’ve made some delicious bread at Narborough this week. We have been talking about Harvest and what it symbolises. We used our hands to knead the dough and make shapes. We had some bread with our soup for tea and some to take home.

Keeping with the Peppa Pig theme in the baby room at Narborough, they children have been exploring the mud, and using brown paint and welly boots to stamp. Lots of mess but but lots of fun.

Beach Fun at Narborough

We’ve created our very own beach at Narborough, the children have been building sandcastles and splashing in the paddling pool.

Eid Mubarak from Narborough

At Narborough the children have been doing some activities around the festival of Eid, they have created some sparkly moons and stars and bright colourful pictures. We would like to wish Eid Blessings to all those celebrating.

Check out our skittle alley at Narborough. Pre-school and 2-3’s have had so much fun playing skittles today in the garden. It’s great for the children’s hand eye coordination.

At Narborough this week the 2-3’s room have created a maypole and made some beautful ribbon pictures. They have also been dancing with bells and ribbons.
